Projects

At AEP Transmission, you will gain real world experience contributing to such projects as:

  • Analyzing and planning transmission system infrastructure and expansion
  • Designing substations
  • Troubleshooting station problems
  • Preparing new equipment for service
  • Specifying equipment and material needs
  • Engineering transmission lines
  • Assuring that transmission assets operate within design limits and standards

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program (for electrical or civil engineers) or other relevant major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Full-time students, preferably sophomore year or above
