At AEP Transmission, you will gain real world experience contributing to such projects as:
- Analyzing and planning transmission system infrastructure and expansion
- Designing substations
- Troubleshooting station problems
- Preparing new equipment for service
- Specifying equipment and material needs
- Engineering transmission lines
- Assuring that transmission assets operate within design limits and standards
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program (for electrical or civil engineers) or other relevant major
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Full-time students, preferably sophomore year or above
